Facebook for NonProfits - St Albert

Facebook has fast become an essential communication channel and a valuable community building tool for many nonprofit organizations. Other nonprofits have yet to reap the rewards. They're on Facebook because they know they should be but haven't yet defined their audiences, learned to package their stories or developed a Facebook content strategy. This workshop is designed to close these three important gaps. In this workshop, we’ll focus on branding your nonprofit's company page, showcasing tactics to increase Likes, Comments and Shares, and exploring numerous strategies to grow your nonprofit’s connections. You’ll learn how and where to find the influencers in your field to turn them into advocates, and numerous advanced Facebook strategies such as how to integrate your Facebook campaigns into your website, enewsletter, and blogging campaigns as well as your offline activities. The workshop ends with a discussion about Facebook's new "donate now" button and how your nonprofit organization can achieve many benefits from running advertising campaigns for fundraising and other events with a small amount of money, time and effort.
